#089 PAPERKEG NIGHTS™ ANNOUNCEMENT = BLACK KISS II

After the sun comes down…

"This series is rated Adults Only." It says it plain as day right in the description!

We’ve done a theme show before, everybody knows that. But this time we’re taking it one step further. All Adult-rated titles and we’re going to be doing Black Kiss II as our book club. Don’t tell your wife, maybe. Or husband?.

DISCLAIMER: GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING: Howard Chaykin’s sequel to his groundbreaking Black Kiss pits paranormal pornography against gritty graphic violence. Readers sensitive to all forms of sexual sadism and politically incorrect social satire are advised to approach with extreme caution.

Sex, death, and the movies - what else really matters? Nearly twenty five years ago, HOWARD CHAYKIN brought the 80s to a close, and comics to the brink, with his landmark erotic thriller, BLACK KISS. Now, after years of anticipation, he’s back with issue one of BLACK KISS II, a six-part miniseries that tells the story behind that legendary story - like the original, in glorious black and white. And really, now - does it have to be so dirty?

The first line of this post was indeed from the Baywatch Nights intro, just as you suspected. Something’s gonna give, something’s gotta break. Our calls to David Hasslehoff to record our new Paperkeg Nights™ intro have, so far, gone unanswered. So far. But honestly, what more do you need besides “paranormal pornography?”

Will Jonesy abbreviate every single word of his review to extremely perverse ham levels? Will Mark give his patented “it was decent” review or go all out “this insulted me on all racial levels” Spawn-style? Will Dale wear Howard Chaykin’s skin as a mask and beckon even more creator retweets?

The deadline for emails is SUNDAY so don’t forget to get your letters for Mark to blabber all over your thesis. Check the Twitter for a link to the LIVE Google Hangout.

Also, iTunes reviews!
